Rubies + Diamonds Cafe

January 9 2018

Heard the one about the dancing goats? It's not a joke so much as it's a tall tale. Legend has it that coffee was first discovered in Africa by a mountainside herder whose goats were literally dancing all night long (and keeping him awake!). What caused these party animals to get their freak on until the wee hours of the morning? Guess. That's right, coffee! While grazing, the goats were eating the berries from the coffee arabica plant and getting all hopped on caffeine. Whether you want to dance all night long or simply have your morning cup of joe, we highly recommend Rubies+Diamonds for all your favorite caffeine concoctions. R+D prides itself on being a "furious mash up of the old and new." From the Grafton, simply drive west for three miles. (Here's a tip from the locals: if the traffic is bad on Sunset, don't be afraid to take Fountain Ave instead.)
